Jason M. Caskey
is a partner with the Omaha office of Kutak Rock. He concentrates on intellectual property protection, technology law, commercial transactions, copyrights, IP development and related transactions. With experience leading an in-house legal team and as a litigator, Mr. Caskey keeps a pragmatic and practical focus on assisting his clients to close deals while minimizing applicable legal, business and economic risks. His clients range from Fortune 100 companies to start ups and local professional services companies to rock bands and performance venues. Mr. Caskey earned his B.A. degree from Santa Clara University and J.D. degree from University of Nebraska College of Law.

Colin Finnegan
is a labor and employment attorney at Kutak Rock, with experience in litigation and traditional labor matters. He zealously defends employers in claims involving the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA); Titles III and VII of the Civil Rights Act; Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA); Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska state discrimination laws; and other related claims. Mr. Finnegan's experience includes handling all aspects of litigation from the investigation phase through trial. He works with employers to create and implement a practical and effective strategy depending on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. In his practice, Mr. Finnegan also counsels clients in traditional labor matters, including union organizing campaigns, unfair labor practice charges, and union awareness training. Using his extensive knowledge of state and federal labor and employment laws, he routinely counsels employers on hiring and firing, drug testing, employment policies and handbooks, and proactive strategies for litigation avoidance. Mr. Finnegan earned his B.A. degree from Northern Illinois University and his J.D. degree from the University of Kansas School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska; and before the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Western districts of Missouri; U.S. District Court, District of Kansas; U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska; and U.S. District Court, District of Colorado.

Daniel J. Fischer
is a Shareholder with Koley Jessen P.C., L.L.O. where he advocates for clients in intellectual property and complex business/commercial cases across the United States as well as representing regionally healthcare providers in disputes of all types, including fair hearings and contract disputes, and media clients in First Amendment, defamation, reporter's privilege, and public access issues. With respect to intellectual property, he has represented clients in patent, trademark, and copyright infringement cases as well as cases involving misappropriation of trade secrets. Mr. Fischer has handled numerous trademark registration disputes before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. In health law, he has represented the firm's medical clients in numerous litigation matters, both general and those unique to health care providers. Mr. Fischer also assists such clients in responding to subpoenas for testimony and documents as well as administrative licensing and privilege matters, such as fair hearings over privileges. In the First Amendment area, he has represented the media and other clients in defamation cases, rights to access public record and closed hearings, and privacy matters. Lastly, Mr. Fischer assists corporate and individual clients in all manner of business disputes such as contracts, commercial landlord/tenant, employee dishonesty/theft matters, construction defects, construction liens, and insurance. He earned his B.S. degree summa cum laude from the University of South Dakota and his J.D. degree with distinction from the University of Nebraska College of Law. Mr. Fischer is admitted to practice in State of Nebraska, State of South Dakota, U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska, U.S. District Court, District of South Dakota, U.S. Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Independence M. Talken
is an associate with Kutak Rock, in the firm's Intellectual Property and Technology Transactions practice, with a focus on data privacy and cybersecurity. She counsels clients on U.S. and international privacy law issues, privacy program governance, vendor and commercial contracting, and product counseling matters involving online tracking, advertising technologies, and emerging data uses. Ms. Talken's practice centers on the intersection of high technology with applicable regulatory, intellectual property, data privacy and security, and business transactions law. She works with clients across the healthcare, fintech, adtech, SaaS, AI, and retail sectors on data privacy, technology transactions, and related compliance matters. Ms. Talken has advised on privacy considerations involving AI and automated decision-making, biometrics and facial recognition, international data transfers, and children's/minors' privacy and online safety requirements. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), credentialed by the International Association of Privacy Professionals. Ms. Talken earned her J.D. degree from the University of Nebraska, College of Law, with distinction, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Nebraska Law Review and a Student Fellow in the Nebraska Governance and Technology Center. Before law school, she earned a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and was a member of the Irish Guard and marching band and published research in robotic design. Ms.Talken is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association and is admitted to practice in Nebraska.

Kaitlyn P. Banks
is an attorney with Dvorak Law Group, LLC where she is part of the business and corporate practice group at the firm. Ms. Banks concentrates on a wide range of general corporate and business matters, including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, and the drafting and review of various commercial contracts. She is on the firm's AI committee. Ms. Banks earned her B.A. degree in Mathematics from Grinnell College and her J.D. degree, magna cum laude (Recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards, including Taxation of Business Enterprises; Contracts; Corporate Finance; Law & Economics; Bioethics and the Law; and Contemporary Issues in Federal Criminal Law, Investigation, and Enforcement) from Creighton University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in Nebraska.
